Cookie Policy
This site writes no cookies until you accept. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the consent banner — and you can change that choice whenever you like.
Last updated: 21 October 2026
The short version
- No cookie is stored on your device until you accept. The site works fully with no cookies at all.
- The only cookies we ever use are Google Analytics 4 cookies, and only after you press accept.
- Decline the banner, or ignore it, and Google Analytics is switched off and sets no cookie — the two are treated the same. Its tag does still load, and Google receives a cookieless request with your IP address and browser details.
- No advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies are used on this site. There are none to turn off.
- Your accept-or-decline choice is remembered in your own browser, not on our server.
Section 2
Until you accept, this site sets no cookies
You can read every page on this website without a single cookie being set.
This is a static website. It needs no session cookie, no login cookie and no preference cookie to work. There is no account and no login, no payment is taken on the site, and so there is nothing we are obliged to store on your device to deliver the pages to you.
When you first arrive you will see a consent banner asking about analytics cookies. Until you press accept, no analytics cookie is written. The analytics tag loads with every storage permission denied, so it cannot store anything on your device or recognise you later.
Section 3
Analytics cookies — only if you accept
We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode: the tag is on the page from the start, but it can only store and read cookies once you accept. It tells us things like how many people visited, which pages and cities they looked at, and whether people found what they came for. We use it in aggregate, to improve the website.
If you decline, or if you simply ignore the banner, Google Analytics is switched off and none of the cookies below are set. We use Google Consent Mode, so the analytics tag does still load on the page, but every storage permission is set to denied: it cannot write a cookie, and it cannot recognise you on a later visit. Google does receive one cookieless request containing your IP address and browser details. Declining and ignoring have exactly the same effect — we do not treat your silence as a yes.
The cookies this sets, if you accept
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes one browser from another so repeat visits are not counted as new people. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<id> | Google Analytics 4 | Holds the session state for this website's analytics property. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<id> is a family of cookie names — the suffix is the identifier of this site's analytics property, so the real name on your device will look like _ga_ABC123XYZ. These cookies are set by Google as our analytics processor. Google's own cookie lifetimes are set by Google and may change.
Section 4
Where your choice is stored
Your accept-or-decline choice stays in your own browser.
When you answer the banner, the answer is written into your browser's own storage on your own device, so that we do not ask you the same question on every page. It is not sent to our server, it is not part of your enquiry, and it is not linked to your name or number.
It is per-browser and per-device: answer on your phone and your laptop will still ask. Clear your browsing data and the answer is forgotten, so the banner appears again — which also means, if you had accepted, that you are back to no cookies until you accept again.
Section 5
Changing or withdrawing your choice
You are not locked into whatever you pressed the first time. There are two ways to change it.
Use the consent banner again
Clear this site's cookies and site data in your browser settings. Your stored choice goes with them, the banner reappears on your next visit, and you can answer it differently.
Use your browser's controls
Every major browser lets you view and delete cookies for a single site, block third-party cookies, or block cookies entirely. Those settings override anything this website does, and the site will still work normally.
Withdrawing analytics consent takes effect for everything that comes after it: the script stops being loaded on your next page view. It cannot retrospectively remove the aggregate measurements already recorded while consent was in place.
Declining or clearing cookies never limits your access to this site. Every page, every quote form and the chat box work exactly the same with no cookies set.
Section 6
What we do not use
So that there is no ambiguity about the categories you will not find here:
- No advertising or retargeting cookies. We run no ad pixel, no conversion tag and no remarketing list on this site.
- No cross-site tracking. We do not follow you to other websites and we do not buy or receive data about you from anyone who does.
- No social media tracking pixels or embedded like-buttons that would report your visit back.
- No fingerprinting, and no attempt to identify you by your device characteristics.
- No selling of any data gathered on this site, in any form.
Section 7
Cookies versus your enquiry
These are two separate things and it is worth keeping them apart. Cookies are about measuring website usage in aggregate. Your enquiry is the name, number and requirement you deliberately type into a form, the quote pop-up or the chat box, which we use to prepare your quotation.
Declining cookies does not stop you getting a quotation, and sending an enquiry does not switch analytics on. How we handle the details you submit — the purpose, who processes them, how long we keep them, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Section 8
Questions and changes
If you want to know anything more about what this site stores on your device, ask us — we will give you a straight answer.
If we start using a new cookie, we will add it to the table in Section 3 and update the date below before it goes live. Any new non-essential cookie will be asked about in the banner first.
